Refund policy

We hope you love your Bakr products as much as we do. However, if something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
Returns
Due to the hygienic nature of skincare and self-tanning products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used items. If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery so we can make it right.
To start a return, email info@thebakr.co with your order number and a photo or description of the issue. Once approved, we’ll provide instructions and a return shipping label if applicable.
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect upon arrival.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, contact us immediately so we can replace or refund your item as quickly as possible.
Non-returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:

Opened or used skincare and tanning products

Gift cards

Limited-edition or final-sale items
We reserve the right to refuse or limit refunds if we determine that the policy is being abused.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you if your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at info@thebakr.co.
International Orders
For international returns, any customs duties, taxes, or shipping costs are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer unless we made an error with your order.
Your Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or equivalent laws in your region.
